Academic Affairs

The Academic Affairs Committee is responsible for positively influencing the academic experience for all undergraduate students. The Committee is comprised of at least one representative from each school or college as well as other interested Senators and volunteers. This committee works with university academic organizations as well as student academic organizations associated with each school and college. Academic Affairs has forged close relationships with administrators whom are often present at weekly Committee meetings.

Academic Affairs Chair

Kay Bloomberg

Kay Bloomberg is a senior currently majoring in Management with a concentration in International Business. She has been involved in USG since September 2006 and has spent most of her time in the organization working on Academic Advising and making sarcastic comments. When Kay is not chairing the Academic Affairs Committee, she enjoys reading, listening to show tunes, and having spirited conversations in very poor French. Kay hails from Cheshire, CT, home of the Cheshire Marching Ram Band.
