The Executive Committee of the Undergraduate Student Government is partnering with Guard Dogs to bring you the most enjoyable ride home in the history of UConn's safe ride program.

On the night of November 6, 2009 when you call Guard Dogs, one of seven vans driven by a member of USG will pick you up. But what's even better than a safe ride home after a hard night of partying?

A chance to win awesome prizes!

All you will have to do is answer some questions correctly and unlike the actual show, no matter what you will not leave empty handed. Just call (860) 486-8000 that night and USG will be there.

This Wednesday, October 14th, the Undergraduate Student Government is running a food drive that will coincide with the Homecoming Royalty Pageant. Members of USG are collecting non-perishable food items from 5:30 to 6:30 outside the main entrance of Jorgensen. Please bring at least one item to donate if you plan on attending this event. Items can be bought at the Co-op or at Student Union convenience store if you can't get to a store off campus. Please consider helping out hungry families this week.

The Undergraduate Student Government is holding the first Student Appreciation Day today, September 22, 2009, between 11am-2pm on Fairfield Way.

This year's event is sure to be more epic than any other before it. There will be churros, fruit, soda, corn dogs, rock climbing, mechanical bull riding, sunglasses, and much more. 

We give you all th e free stuff and fun you can handle and then we give you some more.

Get ready to STICK IT IN! The REAL tailgating is inside Rentschler Field this year!
 
Starting this Saturday before the game against the Tar Heels of North Carolina, the Undergraduate Student Government will host a Block Party inside the stadium. When you get to East Hartford just hurry in before all of the food and free UConn stuff is given out. The food sold before the game at the Block Party will be cheaper than the during the game and best of all, USG members will be handing out more free stuff than you know what do with.
 
Take the opportunity to watch the Huskies prepare for North Carolina before the game and get all the great advantages to being in the stadium before the game is close to starting. See you there!
