MESSAGE FROM CANDIDATE

I am running for Multicultural & Diversity Senate because I feel as a first-generation female college student I can be an ally and assist the student population to make sure they’re being heard in all of their concerns. I feel as though every student deserves to have a voice on what will be going on in their education and education atmosphere. Being a part of RHA, USG, and club lacrosse I feel that I am very involved in the school and community of UConn and know how to build connections with my peers and I know how to handle a leadership position to help others. For those reasons I hope you will vote for me to strengthen the schools multiculturalism and diversity.
