MESSAGE FROM THE CANDIDATE

Hi! I'm a sophomore in Political Science from North Haven, CT, and I'm honored to be running for USG Comptroller! I'm USG's current Inventory Director, a department within the Comptroller's Office, managing nearly $1,000,000 in Tier II inventory across nearly 200 organizations here at UConn. Outside USG, I am the National Communications Coordinator for UConn's Residence Hall Association and am a member of UConn Page to Stage, a theatre organization here on campus. I'm running for this position because my experience within the office and in USG in its entirety has been so rewarding, but I am prepared to transform the office of the Comptroller to greater suit YOUR needs. Working in the Comptroller's Office has given me valuable experience, and in working with my fellow directors and our current Comptroller, I possess the knowledge necessary to lead this office, furthering its goals and building upon its achievements that I myself have had a hand in accomplishing. Above all, I seek to enhance transparency and communication from the Comptroller's Office via consistent budget and Tier II funding updates, working and advocating for YOU, the student body!
