Tanner Marchese
Year: Junior
Major: Political Science & Human Rights Campaign
I’m a junior studying political science and human rights. I have a strong interest in voting rights, civil rights, and economic inequality. I have been involved in USG for a year as a residential senator and have worked on legislation involving housing insecurity at UConn. I am also the treasurer of the UConn Marching Band where I also play trumpet and am a member of the ΚΚΨ band fraternity. As a student senator, I hope to continue to work on housing as well as making sure that all UConn students have access to everything they need to be successful and happy here. Outside of my academics and clubs, I like to go skiing, ride my bike, go to the gym, hang out with friends, watch movies and TV, and play video games.
