I am Olivia Eshoo, a junior MCB major on the pre-med track. With a passion to use my voice to advocate for my fellow students, I would like to be one of your CLAS senators. In terms of advocacy, I am currently Deputy of External Affairs where I collaborate with the director and members of the committee to create initiatives based on student interest that are related to political advocacy, environment and sustainability, community outreach, and professional networking. My communication and listening skills have allowed me to so far, address concerns of my CLAS constituents. For example, we are currently working on a Professional Clothing Closet to provide students with professional clothes to help them do well in interviews and work environments. In Senate, I can use voting power to pass legislation with my constituency's best interests in mind and as a senator, I promise to gather your input and represent ALL voices in these discussions. Thus, I hope you vote for me so that I can continue my advocacy efforts in USG Senate.
