Hi everyone! I’m Tamara Segal and I’m running to be your Senator for the College of Engineering. I'm an environmental engineering major with interests in political science and chemistry, and I am eager to represent a student body with passions and concerns as varied as my own. As a proud member of the Engineering House Learning Community and the Society of Women Engineers, I have gotten to know many of my fellow students in the College of Engineering. Through this involvement, I have learned about the different challenges we face and will be a strong advocate for my peers. I believe a school is only as strong as its students, and I’m committed to ensuring UConn has a strong future. If elected, I plan to amplify my peers’ voices on subjects of importance such as improved bus routes, ethical investment policies that support students responsibly, and organizing events that bring students together.
