Larissa Chiarito - Academic (Engineering)

Hello engineers! I am Larissa Chiarito, and I am running to represent you in the College of Engineering at the USG Senate. As engineers, we view challenges as opportunities for growth, and we understand the importance of teamwork. Our ambitions thrive on our community and the materials. I am dedicated to ensuring that we have access to improved academic resources and a supportive environment: up-to-date engineering equipment and lab facilities, networking events with both on-campus and off-campus organizations, specialized mental health workshops to help us manage our heavy course loads, and inclusive initiatives to support women and racial minorities in STEM. Through my leadership, I promise to establish a collaborative and supportive community that will help advance our professional careers, and I will work to pass legislation that will. College of Engineering, let us use our innovative minds to make the future we dream of become the present.
