Andrea Perez-Meneses - Comptroller

Hi, I'm Andrea Perez-Meneses, a junior studying Economics from Bristol, CT, and I’m excited to be running for USG Comptroller! I've been an active member and senator of USG since my freshman year, first serving as an ACES Senator and later as an MCD Senator. I'm currently serving as the Engagement Coordinator of the Senate, which works under the Office of the Speaker. Here I serve as a support role, working with our senate to promote productivity as well as transparency in our organization. As your USG Comptroller, I’d like to carry both of these missions into my new role. I want to provide more financial literacy and support resources for Tier-II organizations because they deserve strong financial guidance and accessible resources. Less focus on forms, more focus on the impact that they want to make. Transparency, I will work to improve clarity in funding decisions, appeals, and processes through clearer checklists, stronger communication, and consistent feedback loops with Tier II organizations. Lastly, I’m a strong believer that student money should reflect student values, and with your vote I will make sure that your voice is heard. Thank you for participating in our elections!
