Javed Ahamed - Academic (CLAS)

As a CLAS student, I know how overwhelming college can feel at times. From navigating course registration and advising to thinking about internships and life after graduation, it’s easy to feel like you’re figuring everything out on your own. I’m running for CLAS Senator because I want students to feel supported, heard, and represented in the spaces where decisions are made. To me, leadership isn’t about titles. It’s about showing up consistently, listening honestly, and turning conversations into action. I want to create stronger communication between CLAS students and student government so your concerns don’t disappear after one meeting or one email. Whether it’s academic resources, mental health support, or improving transparency around opportunities, I am committed to advocating for meaningful change. CLAS is one of the largest communities on campus, and every voice within it matters. I would be honored to represent you with integrity, dedication, and genuine care.
