MESSAGE FROM THE CANDIDATE

Hello! My name is Mairan Hall and I am a sophomore Political Science major and a Philosophy minor with both personal and academic commitment to politics and inclusivity. I am running to be a CLAS senator under the platform of promoting accessible student resources as well as creating an inclusive student community within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. If elected, I hope to support policies that would make accommodations more readily available for those who need it as well as supporting divestment legislation. As someone who transferred to UConn in the fall, I am very proud of our school and I want to be a voice for all of you to make this school better in anyway that I can. I am committed to working hard to enhance our campus experience and create meaningful change. Together, we can build a more supportive and inclusive UConn. Go Huskies!
