Transportation Committee
On November 12th, 2025, the Undergraduate Student Government President established an ad hoc committee to investigate transportation issues on campus and identify ways to advocate for student concerns. The committee will report back on:
- The terms in which UConn’s Department of Transportation can alter and update the PassioGo! application for more updated and consistent information.
- Improved transportation options on campus, in the form of scooters, bicycles, buses, and rideshare applications (such as Uber).
- The terms in which UConn’s Department of Transportation works with UPass (CT Transit) and Windham Region Transit District (WRTD).
- A potential process in which students can exchange items at the Husky Harvest Food Pantry parking ticket fee forgiveness.
Committee Membership and Terms:
Members of this Ad hoc committee shall be appointed by the President. A call for interested Members was made at Student Services meetings progressively throughout the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 terms. Members shall be added for the duration of their position in USG.
