Hey guys! I’m Advaith “Adi” Pradeep, a junior majoring in Biological Sciences and captain of the UConn Men’s Crew. I’m running for a second term as your CLAS Senator to continue advocating for the issues that matter most to you. In my first term, I’ve worked on initiatives like improving the Husky Book Bundle and expanding access to free printing. However, there’s more to be done. As a student-athlete and researcher, I understand the challenges of balancing academics, extracurriculars, and well-being. In my second term, I aim to: - Improve academic affordability and resources, including expanding free printing and enhancing textbook programs. - Increase career and internship opportunities for students across all disciplines. - Advocate for stronger mental health and wellness support. - Ensure all student voices are heard, especially those from underrepresented groups. I’m committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where all students can succeed.
