My name is Aditi Thaker and I am running for the position of CLAS Senator in the Undergraduate Student Government. I am currently a sophomore pre-med majoring in Biological Sciences. I am an active member of the Model United Nations Club at UConn and a Research Assistant at the Communications and Development Lab, where I have developed strong communication and collaboration skills. As a CLAS Senator, I am committed to improving academic resources and creating opportunities for student success. I aim to advocate for expanded tutoring services, streamlined access to mental health resources, and increased transparency around course evaluations to help students make informed academic decisions.I also plan to work toward initiatives that enhance research opportunities for undergraduates, ensuring that students from all majors have the tools and support they need to succeed.
