MESSAGE FROM CANDIDATE

Hey Everyone!

My name is Advaith Pradeep (I'm Adi to most people), and I'm excited to announce my candidacy for the position of CLAS Senator in the Undergraduate Student Government. I am currently a sophomore majoring in Biological Sciences on the pre-med track. I am a member of the UConn Men’s Crew and I also do research at the Neag School of Education.

Why am I running?

I am of the opinion that our student government should be an authentic representation of the different social and academic dynamics that exist among students. My experience with getting involved in many student organizations and dealing with students from various backgrounds in the past 2 years of my academic journey here at UConn has been insightful as it has had a lot to offer on what we as a community should be cautious about and on various gaps that we should strive to close. I am aiming to become a competent and efficient representative of all of us to ensure that our concerns and beliefs are considered and things are done about them. I strive to accomplish and achieve excellence in academics, and link students, and their well-being.
