Hi! I’m Ava and I am running for reelection to the position as School of Nursing senator. I am currently a sophomore nursing major, and have served as a senator for the past three semesters. As a senator, I have gained valuable insight to the ins and outs of USG, and the varying voices and opinions of my constituents within the SoN. I am extremely involved on campus with numerous clubs and organizations, which has increased my exposure to the diverse wants and needs of differing student populations. I promise to continue to serve and advocate on behalf of all students to the best of my ability by being a consistent and approachable presence within the SoN, as well as across campus. I will continue to grow a healthy, diverse, and positive environment for all and I am committed to furthering opportunities, the educational experiences available to us, and carrying out initiatives on behalf of the SoN. I look forward to hopefully working with all of you, and would sincerely appreciate your vote to continue to represent the School of Nursing on the senate!
