MESSAGE FROM THE CANDIDATE

As a biracial student, I know firsthand the power of diversity and the challenges that come with navigating multiple identities. Growing up, I often found myself bridging cultures, perspectives, and experiences, which is an ability that has shaped my passion for inclusivity and representation. I am running for the Multicultural and Diversity Senate seat because I believe every student deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. UConn thrives when all voices regardless of race, background, or identity are uplifted and empowered. If elected, I will work towards expanding cultural programming, advocating for underrepresented students, and pushing for policies that foster true equity on campus.
