Our budget

At the Undergraduate Student Government (USG), transparency and accountability are at the core of everything we do. To further our commitment to these values, we are proud to make the USG budget publicly available on our website. By sharing this information, we aim to provide the UConn community with clear insight into how student fees are allocated to support initiatives, programs, and services that benefit the student body. USG is funded through student fees, with $45.00 per student per semester along with inherited funds from UConnPIRG/Praxis, a former student organization

Our Budget Goes to….

Supporting Student Organizations
$1,000,000 for Tier-II RSOs to enhance campus life and student engagement.

Academic and Student Resources
$20,000 for free access to the New York Times.
$60,510 for free printing services for students.

Health and Wellness
$$91,500 for menstrual products and Plan B.
$25,000 for mental health initiatives.
$20,000 for the campus pantry and food security.

Diversity and Inclusion
$75,000 for diversity initiatives, cultural fairs, and outreach programs.
