Tickets to Tables gives students the opportunity to use qualifying nonperishable donations toward eligible parking ticket balances while supporting UConn students through Husky Harvest.

About Tickets to Tables
Tickets to Tables has expanded from a pilot program into a recurring event. Students can bring qualifying nonperishable goods to receive credit toward eligible parking ticket balances. Donated goods will support Husky Harvest.

Each accepted item has an assigned value. Multiple items can be combined toward an eligible parking ticket balance.
Bring your items
Bring eligible, unopened and unexpired items to the Tickets to Tables event.
Items are reviewed
Tickets to Tables staff will determine whether an item meets the event requirements.
Items receive a value
Accepted items are assigned a value of $3, $5, $7, or $10 depending on the category.
Values are combined
The value of eligible items can be added together toward an eligible parking ticket balance.
Donations support students
Accepted goods are donated to support UConn students through Husky Harvest.
Donation Values
The following categories and values are used for Tickets to Tables.

| $3 | Canned Goods / Small Pantry Items / Small Snacks | Rice, sauce, bags of snacks. No opened or expired items. Loose items such as individual candy pieces are not accepted. |
| $3 | Microwave Meals | Ramen containers or cups count as one item. Three ramen packets count as one item. Frozen meals are not accepted. |
| $5 | Small Hygiene Items | Soaps and travel-sized products. If you bring a pack of something, such as toothbrushes, it counts as one item. |
| $7 | High Value Pantry | Cereal and large bags of food are preferred. Items cannot be expired or opened. |
| $7 | Large Hygiene Items | Laundry detergent under 20 loads falls under this category. |
| $10 | Extra Value Items | Items must be unopened. Laundry detergent over 20 loads falls under this category. Items collected from USG's PeriodBox will not be accepted. |
Event Rules
Items must be:
- Unopened
- Unexpired
- Nonperishable, when applicable
- Within one of the accepted categories
Items that will not be accepted:
- Opened items
- Expired items
- Frozen or perishable foods
- Husky Harvest items
- USG PeriodBox items
- Loose items such as individual candy pieces
- Frozen meals

Can I combine multiple items?
Yes. The values of accepted items can be combined toward an eligible parking ticket balance.
Who determines whether an item qualifies?
Tickets to Tables staff have final discretion over item eligibility and the amount of credit awarded.
