My name is Sam Ramirez, I use us she/her/hers/ella pronouns and I am a Puerto Rican/Dominican student Majoring in Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice as a third year, first gen student. If chosen, I’d be honored to be elected to serve on USGs Senate as a Multicultural Diversity Senator. Throughout the years I have had the honor to be part of organizations and other volunteer groups that have provided aid to the Puerto Rican community during past natural disasters as well as provide supplies to communities in need throughout my hometown. This involved providing supplies as well as managing some of the workflow. It is of great importance to give back and help my community and I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to get involved within USG to better serve our BIPOC population and support underrepresented communities on campus!
