MESSAGE FROM CANDIDATE

In my first semester at the University of Connecticut, I have learned a number of valuable lessons about the undergraduate experience, one of these being my solidified belief that an undergraduate education is the most important part of a student’s academic career. Your first four years of higher education set the foundation for your most prominent passions, beliefs, connections, and goals. That is why as a political science major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, I am invariably dedicated to providing each and every student with the strongest possible undergraduate experience. It is my goal as a senator to provide you with the resources necessary to create a deeply advantageous four year period at the University of Connecticut, from the moment you complete your freshman orientation until the time you receive your degree. I am equally devoted to providing each and every student–regardless of their identity–an equal opportunity to succeed at this university by providing a voice at the table for those who may feel underrepresented or discounted. Thank you for your consideration in voting for me as a University of Connecticut senator. I look forward to serving you well.
