Hey, all! My name is Sophie Rifkin and I'm a freshman Sociology major here at UConn. As a student, I am committed to civic engagement, social justice, equity, and inclusivity both on and off campus. Throughout my first semester at UConn, I have shown myself to be a high achiever, a deep thinker, and a doer. I fight for what I believe in and am committed to making the world a better place. With that in mind, I am proud to declare my candidacy for an academic Senate seat on the Undergraduate Student Government (USG).
